It’s time to fill your May content calendar with fun and engaging hashtag holidays that we know your audience will love. But they might not love all of them, so only pick those that you think are relevant to your brand and audience.

May 12th is a day to recognize the contributions nurses make to society. This is especially important this year, given the hard work nurses have put in to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Let’s take this day to show love and support to all the nurses around the world.
May 15: National Chocolate Chip Day (#ChocolateChipDay)
If you love sweets, you’re in luck. Grab a bag of chocolate chips or stop by your favorite local bakery and celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day! Share your favorite recipe that involves chocolate chips and encourage your audience to share theirs as well!
May 21: National Flower Day (#NationalFlowerDay)
It’s only right that with spring, we have a national flower day. Treat yourself to your favorite plant or a beautiful bouquet of flowers, or gift one to a loved one! You can still shop local by stopping by one of your favorite plant nurseries or flower farms.
May 24: National Scavenger Hunt Day (#NationalScavengerHuntDay)
Enjoy a good old fashioned scavenger hunt, or give it a twist. Here’s a fun idea: in the week leading up to National Scavenger Hunt Day, place surprises in each of your posts. On May 24th, let people know they can look through your most recent posts to find a surprise!

May 31: Memorial Day (#MemorialDay)
Finishing off the month is Memorial Day, honoring the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. Here are 4 ways you can show respect on Memorial Day: if you know a veteran or a family of a fallen soldier, call them and say thank you, fly a flag half-staff until noon, attend a parade to pay tribute to those who have sacrificed their life, and do something patriotic or a service family.
